6 Week Online Relax Kids Class for Families
We are all settling into a new way of being but this pandemic and the scaremongering isn't going away! The news still has constant reminders of COVID and the uncertainty in the world. The fear and constantly changing rules and messages that we are all experiencing are having a huge impact on our mental health and our mindset. This upset is effecting us as adults and also the little people in our lives.
This 6 week Relax Kids course for families will be held on a Monday afternoon/evening so we will be setting ourselves and our children up for the week ahead. Throughout the course I will be teaching your family techniques and skills to help you cope during these strange and uncertain times.
During each class you and your child will learn life-long techniques which can be used during any stressful situation.
Each class will follow the seven steps of a Relax Kids class and the most important part of each class will be that everyone has fun while learning useful new tools. We take the children from high energy fun and jumping activities down to a quiet and calm energy. Each class includes stretches, gentle massage, games and deep breathing and we always finish lying quietly listening to calming music and a mindfulness track.
Mindfulness is the experience of spending time with yourself and this results in better sleep and a calmer atmosphere. When families practice mindfulness techniques together it forms a stronger, better family unit and in the future when stress levels start rising everybody has a few techniques to pull out of the bag.
Who: children and at least one parent (the ideal age for children for this particular class is 4 - 8 years of age but all siblings, younger and older are welcome to join in)
When: Monday afternoons from 4.10 – 5.10pm, starting 2nd November

The Zoom link will be sent out the week before class starts.
At the end of the course, you will receive a document recapping some of the best exercises taught during the course that are most useful to use at home and you will also get two recorded meditations.

This is a six week online course for adults who would like to slow down their world a little bit. By slowing down our inner world, our outter world follows suit. During our hour class every week we will use mindfulness and relaxation techniques to ease our busy minds and to create a little space of calm within us.
This class is suitable for anyone who has a mindfulness practice and for complete beginners.
The benefits of mindfulness include better sleep, improved mood, a slower experience of life and reduced stress and experiencing the group energy will enhance these benefits.
