Creating Inner Calm Through Mindfulness
This is a six week online course for adults who would like to slow down their world a little bit. By slowing down our inner world, our outter world follows suit. During our hour class every week we will use mindfulness and relaxation techniques to ease our busy minds and to create a little space of calm within us.
This class is suitable for anyone who has a mindfulness practice and for complete beginners.
The benefits of mindfulness include better sleep, improved mood, a slower experience of life and reduced stress and experiencing the group energy will enhance these benefits.

The last school year ended like no other!
Parents were told to work from home while they home-schooled l their children and dealt with a global pandemic. This was only ever going to result in stress, for everyone involved!
Sleep has been disrupted, routines went out the window and the whole world seemed to be surviving on stress hormones.
And now, here we are trying to get back to some sense of normality but nobody knows what that looks like or how to live in this ‘new normal’ so our stress levels haven’t decreased!
This four week course will help to alleviate some of that stress. During each class you and your child will learn techniques which can be used during any stressful situation. The most important part of a Relax Kids class is that the children have fun while learning useful new tools.
Each class follows seven steps. We take the children from high energy fun and jumping down to a quiet and calm energy. Each class includes stretches, gentle massage, games and deep breathing and we always finish lying quietly listening to calming music and a mindfulness track.
Mindfulness is the experience of spending time with yourself and this results in better sleep and a calmer atmosphere. When families practice mindfulness techniques together it forms a stronger, better family unit and in the future when stress levels start rising everybody has a few techniques to pull out of the bag.
Who: children and at least one parent (the ideal age for children for this particular class is 4 - 8 years of age but all siblings, younger and older are welcome to join in)
When: 4 Tuesdays, beginning 8th September 3.30 – 4.30 pm

Price: €150 per family (which includes a document afterwards with some of the best exercises taught during the course that can be used easily at home and email support throughout the 4 weeks)
