Creating Calm at Home Six Week courseThis six week online course for parents will teach you mindful exercises and activities that you can do with your children to help your family have a calming and peaceful home environment.
There will be a combination of gratitude exercises, breathing techniques and different family activities and FUN will be the cornerstone of them all! If you can teach your children from a young age that mindfulness and feeling calm can also be fun then they are more likely to remember it as something good and fun to do later in life. Each week we will start class by setting our intention for our time together and we will then do a lovely meditation to bring us into the virtual space and to quiet and calm the chaos in our own heads. We will then do some of the fun activities we can try with our children, maybe have some discussion about things that worked or didn’t work and there will be a new activity you can introduce to your children every week. The activities will be simple, require no or very little preparation or materials. Mindfulness is being aware of what you are doing when you are doing it. It does not require silence or sitting still so if you are playing with your children and you are all focused on the game you are playing then you are being mindful.
