We run classes for all age groups; from children of four years of age up to adults. There are three different types of classes; classes for children of primary school age, teenagers and adults. All classes can be provided in English and Irish. Click on the links below to find out more about the age group you are interested in. |
We follow the structure of a Relax Kids class in these classes. Each class starts with games which require and release a lot of enegry and then we slowly bring the children down to slower, calmer games and activities. We do gentle massage and we do stretches to release tension from our bodies. At the end of every class the children lie down on the floor and listen to relaxing music and do a gentle meditation.

We discuss the effects of stress on the physical body during these classes. The young people go away with an understanding of how mindfulness can help reduce stress. We use music and food to engage the young people. We talk about their own interests and these are brought into the classroom.
